If you happen to be unfamiliar with the South African winegrowing region of Elgin then there’s no need to beat yourself up. As South Africa’s coolest climate wine region it’s true that it was only relatively recently that we began to see wines from there in our market.
This week we speak to the visionary Winemaker Paul Cluver, a wonderfully friendly and modest gentleman whose vinous exploits are at the very centre of the region’s nascent development and expansion.
