by Jane Rodmell for All The Best Fine Foods, a ‘Certified Good Food Fighter’

One thing you can count on, life around All The Best is never dull. About this time of year, twenty seven years ago we were covered in lath and plaster and banging together shelves to open a little bakery in a charming, if slightly well-worn, century-old building on Yonge Street in mid-town Toronto. Our goal was to offer the best selection of freshly baked breads in the city together with delicious hand-made pastries, local preserves and honey and lots of special sweet treats.

Over the years, through several more episodes of plaster dust, our range expanded to include fabulous artisan cheeses, savoury specialties and a complete range of freshly prepared take-away foods made in our own kitchen. We feature naturally-raised meats and poultry, local fruits and vegetables and the finest ingredients we can find.

This month, after several years in a temporary space surrounded by scaffolding and cement trucks, All The Best is moving back into the heritage building, now beautifully restored to former beauty.

Our goal remains the same-to bring you the very best of delicious food every day.

Opening day, February 23rd. We look forward to welcoming you to All the Best reborn!
