Get out of town on the weekend of Saturday, October 3rd and Sunday, October 4th! Taste new releases of Biodynamic wines, enjoy samples of Farmers’ Table food, and meet the people behind the scenes at Southbrook Vineyards’  Join The Harvest celebration  This two day open house allows guests a first-hand look into the thrill of the 2015 harvest.  Complimentary tours will be held throughout both days. These tours, led by our winemakers, vineyard manager, owners and knowledgeable staff, will inform you on this year’s harvest and how our biodynamic and organic practices influence the wines we make.  Southbrook recommends booking your tour in advance to guarantee your spot.

Join The Harvest will also introduce three new Estate Southbrook wines.  During the course of the weekend, guests will be among the first to try the Estate Grown Small Lot 2013 Cabernet Franc “Vosges”, Estate Grown Small Lot 2013 Syrah and the newest addition to the Poetica family, the 2012 Poetica Chardonnay. Rick Vansickle reports that this latter wine is a “must-have” for your cellar, along with the 2012 Poetica Red.  These organic and biodynamic wines will make perfect additions to your Thanksgiving dinner, and provide years of enjoyment as they develop.

Chef Shawn Murphy will be serving his Join The Harvest Special that will feature Southbrook Lamb Loin served with Roasted Barley, Heirloom Tomatoes and Grape Jus for $8.  A full menu will be made available the week of the week of October 1.
