Fleur du Cap were actually one of my first introductions to the world of South African wine. Way back in Edinburgh, Scotland I carried both their Chardonnay and their Noble Late Harvest on my wine list for many years, and way back then South African wines were few and far between.
Fast forward to 2017 and I find myself tasting through a range of Fleur du Cap wines with Winemaker Pieter Badenhorst, recounting the last time we met a few years back.
