We have eight new products releasing at the LCBO this weekend:
Heloïse, our daughter, was the inspiration for this iconic cuvée of our property. The wine breaths the joy of life and happiness. The array of varietals and terroirs that create it offer all of their personalities to the wine. Perfumed and inviting, with spice and black pepper leading on to a palate rich with bay leaf, black cherry, tapenade and silky, svelte tannins. 50% Syrah, 30% Grenache Noir, 10% Cinsault, 10%, Mourvèdre
96 Pts & Gold – Decanter World Wine Awards 2020
“Perfumed and inviting, with spice and black pepper leading on to a palate rich with bay leaf, black cherry, tapenade and silky, svelte tannins.”
On release the wine is a very pale straw colour with a youthful green hue. It has intense lifted aromas of melon and lime with hints of stone fruits. There are underlying tropical notes of green pineapple and guava and subtle secondary characters of flint, cedar and spice. The palate delivers what the bouquet promises; citrus fruits, fig and melon flavours along with a clean, mineral acidity and a touch of lemon zest. Texturally, it is delicate, with a creamy mid palate& integrated oak. The Clare Valley parcel delivers mid palate fleshiness whilst the Margaret River component contributes restrained green fruit notes that are typical of this region. Overall, the wine has a great palate line & length which lingers long after the wine is consumed.
95 Pts & Exceptional – Vic Harradine, winecurrent.com, February 29, 2021
“Alluring aromas of baking spice—ginger and nutmeg—are joined by notions of lemon-lime and flinty minerality on the nose of this medium-bodied, gorgeously textured, show-stopping chardonnay. It bathes the palate with persistent purity of fruit—tangy lemon curd and wisps of racy grapefruit juxtaposed with riper, sweeter quince jelly, white nectarine and Mirabelle plum. These replay on the lingering, deftly balanced finish and aftertaste. Drink now and up to 2027 or so. It’s quite food friendly, give it a go with pork, chicken, veal or for an inspired choice – try this recipe, just for the halibut’”

“A medium bodied, fruity style, this red boasts cherry, black currant, earth and a touch of spice flavors. Fresh and bright, shows moderate length. Sangiovese, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Drink now through 2024.”
This cava is a beautiful bright pink colour. The numerous streams formed by its large number of tiny bubbles create a truly spectacular effervescence. Its white crown, abundant and long-lasting, contrasts with its pink background, highlighting its magnificent mousse. Its aroma is delicate and intense. In it, we can find clear notes of cherries and strawberries, surrounded by hints of honey, toast and floral memories. It has a very unusual nose in which freshness dominates over vinosity.
89 Pts – Natalie MacLean, May 22, 2018
“A robust, muscular non-vintage Pinot Noir Brut Rose sparkling wine made from Pinot Noir grapes, thus the dark hue and deep flavour of cherry and dark berries. Pair with hard cheeses.”
