The brainchild of Larry Turley (brother of the famed Winemaker Helen Turley, and co-founder of Frog’s Leap), Turley Wine Cellars have, since 1993, established themselves as producers of some of the most iconic of Californian Zinfandels.

Just last week, Larry’s daughter, Christina, was in town to taste her family’s wines with Sommeliers from across Ontario. Having moved back to the family business after a number of years working as Beverage Director for David Chang’s NYC Momofuku properties, Christina now oversees the company’s sales and marketing.

We sat down with her for a little chat about her experiences as a Sommelier in New York, of making the decision to work with her family on the west coast, and her intense passion for white Zinfandel… yes, you read that correctly. White Zinfandel.
