Domaine Bonnet-Huteau Les Laures Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur Lie 2020

“This complex, opulent, concentrated 2020 has citric, floral and yeasty notes from time on its lees and an attractive texture. This is a Muscadet for grilled fish. The 40ha Domaine Bonnet-Huteau, based in La Chapelle-Heulin, is another leading Muscadet estate. Its current reputation has been made by Rémi and Jean-Jacques Bonnet along with Vincent Pineau. Rémi has recently retired. The domaine was certified organic in 2005 and is now biodynamic, having started the conversion in 2010. Les Laures is on granite with thin soils in the commune of Vallet. The vines are aged between 30 and 45 years old and yields are kept down to 35 hl/ha. Drinking window: 2022-2035.” 93 points, Jim Budd, Decanter

Revana Terroir Series Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

“This is packed with waves of steeped plum, boysenberry compote and açaí reduction, dripping with fruit but keeping its form and detail thanks to underlying tar and graphite notes. Presents pretty violet and anise accents, which fill in the background. Best from 2023 through 2036. 94 points, James Molesworth, Wine Spectator
